Compliance with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Act of 2016

Professional Regulatory Commission- Calling the attention of all professionals, please be advised that starting July 1, 2017 with the exception of Professional Teachers and Registered Nurses, are required to present earned CPD units before the renewal of license.

Those who will renew their license must provide the original and photocopy of certificates of credit units earned.

As stated in section 10.2 of the General IRR of the CPD Law, the transitory period for the accumulation of CPD Credit Units are as follows:

Compliance of CPD Law for Professional Teachers will start on December 1, 2017 per resolution No. 11 s.2017 of the Board for Professional Teachers.

Compliance of CPD law for Registered Nurses will start on January 1, 2018 per resolution No. 10, s. 2017 of the Board of Nursing.
